WILD ACCESS

(2021 - ongoing) is an interdisciplinary performance company that since 2021 has created site-specific productions for public spaces. Using dance, light, sound and storytelling, their immersive performances bring audiences together to experience urban locations through fictional landscapes and sensory worlds.

GLADE at Soundance festival DOCK11 - June 2024

In their new work “GLADE”, interdisciplinary Performance-Company WILD ACCESS brings their site-specific practice, interweaving dance, lights, sound and text, to the stage. Their starting point is a “glade”: a clearing in a forest. From this grassy space that opens between the trees, they create an immersive terrain populated by hybrid creatures. In their search for the wild outside, they call for the wildness within.

CLINCH at Bärenzwinger, in the frame of “In Mir Draussen” - April 2024

Taking the history of the Bärenzwinger bear enclosure as a starting point, the interdisciplinary performance company WILD ACCESS explores animals in captivity and an encounter with “the wild”. In creating a fictional, immersive environment, the performers fall into a “CLINCH”; a grapple at close quarters between the human and the non-human, between claws and jaws. The audience is invited into an extended choreography that slips across territories of domestication and ferocity.

COTTBUS at BLMK and the adjacent Goethepark, in the frame of DiR (dance in residency), Novemeber 2022, Cottbus

is an immersive dance/light production that will take place in the BLMK and the adjacent Goethepark. In a hybrid for- mat that moves between audio walk and live performance, the audience is invited to a nocturnal experience that transforms the park through dance, light and sound.What if the daily activities that take place in the park are remembered at night? What if the unknown corners and invisi- ble creatures became the main characters and spaces of action?
